Please read these course policies carefully as they govern your use of the course! Please confirm that you have read the Course Code of Conduct and agree to abide by its terms and conditions. By checking "Agree" below, you agree to these terms and conditions prior to registration. You will have to repeat this course if you don't complete all of the online modules, homework, and in-car lessons within one year (365 days). This MTO rule has no exceptions and this means paying for the course again. Please acknowledge that the information you have provided in your registration is accurate, and that you consent to the release of your information to the Ministry of Transportation, Insurance Bureau of Canada, and the MTO Course Inspectors under the Privacy Policy. Students will be required to provide instructors with a minimum of 24 hours notice prior to a lesson if they wish to cancel the lesson. Failure to cancel a lesson with 24 hours notice will result in a $50 fee per hour of instruction paid to the instructor. In-car lessons will occur within the city limits of the city you have selected at the time of registration. Instructors will not pick up and drop off outside of city limits unless they have made special arrangements with students. Students are required to have the physical copy of their Driver's License on them at all times for in-car lessons. Paper or electronic copies will not be accepted by instructors. Some of our vehicles are equipped with onboard video recording and dashcams for use only for insurance purposes or in the event of a student complaint. Interior recordings are securely stored for 48 hours and are then deleted. Video will only be retained for use if required for the two reasons listed above. These vehicles are all clearly marked with window decals. Registering for the course will show the student's consent to be recorded. No student may attend driving lessons with an instructor under the influence of any mood or mind-altering substances.
